Welcome to Europe Gas Team
You will be part of Short-Term Gas Trading Team where you, together with your colleagues, will provide the route to market for our gas portfolio – executing on trading strategies and opportunities in the market while keeping the portfolio in balance.

You will be working in a team of 8 bright and dedicated colleagues where you will maintain and build good relationships with internal partners and stakeholders. In the department, we play an active role in setting the strategy in a fast-moving market.

You’ll play an important role in:

• Trading the intraday and day-ahead gas markets in Northwest Europe to balance and add value to the gas portfolio
• Create value from the flexible assets in our gas portfolio and positions in the gas markets
• Monitoring, developing, and trading short-term trading strategies
• Improving and developing our operational and analytical setup through automation and digitalisation
• Conducting ad hoc analysis and participating in various projects
• Participating in the 24/7 duty roster, covering 365 days a year

To succeed in the role, you:

• Relevant experience from energy and or commodity markets and preferably short -term gas trading and balancing
• Strong responsibility and proven cross-functional collaboration skills in an international environment
• Excellent communication skills
• A proven team player and willing to go the extra mile when needed to support your colleagues
• Ability to stay calm in hectic situations and alert in calm situations
• Have an interest in acquiring in-depth knowledge of the European gas market
