Sourcing Manager

Join us in this role where you’ll be responsible for sourcing the right suppliers to secure the operation and fulfil the servicing needs of our offshore windfarms and transmission assets. You’ll be working with our procurement process and governance from developing the sourcing strategies to contract handover. In this role, you'll be coordinating with our category managers, business stakeholders and colleagues in supporting functions. Welcome to O&M Procurement 
You’ll be part of Offshore Services Procurement where you, together with your colleagues, will your colleagues, will support our offshore windfarms to produce power, by ensuring contracting of timely and competitive O&M services. You’ll be working in a global team of highly skilled procurement professionals. An important aspect of your role is to proactively consolidate input from internal stakeholders to negotiate and sign fit to scope contracts ready for the end users’ purposes. In this role you’ll be working closely with colleagues organized in project or at our operational hubs.

You’ll play an important role in:  

  • being responsible for the end to end tendering process, qualifying suppliers, clarifying and evaluating bids, preparing and negotiating terms and conditions, and recommending and awarding suppliers 

  • ensuring compliance with internal and external tendering rules, policies, and governance by actively engaging and seeking input from key support functions 

  • preparing and presenting clear and thought-through stage gate documents to aid management and budget owners’ decision making. 

  • leading communication with suppliers throughout the sourcing activities  

  • contributing to the quality assurance processes by reviewing peers’ documentation, sharing tendering and contract lessons learned, and providing feedback to category strategies   

  • handing over complete signed contract packages with complete metadata ready for execution   

 

To succeed in the role, you'll:  

  • have hands-on experience with managing sourcing processes from the drafting of sourcing strategies to contract signing. Experience running tenders according to EU-tender law is a plus 

  • have a passion for negotiating and possess relevant experience taking responsibility for planning and executing the negotiation process.  

  • possess good verbal and written English communication skills enabling you to effectively collaborate with the team and communicate professionally with key stakeholders 

  • have the bandwidth to identify commercial opportunities focusing on reductions in the total cost of asset ownership, whilst achieving a solution which meets technical, QHSE, sustainability and operational requirements. 

  • act with high integrity, take ownership, handle pressure well, proactively ask questions, and seek input beyond your network to drive results 

  • are organized, well-structured, and possess good attention to detail, especially when preparing documentation
