Student Assistant, Service Delivery Management in Digital Technology

Join us in the role as a Student Assistant – intended for active students, this part-time employment allows you to gain real-world experience while continuing your studies. You will be a part of the team working with reporting, data analysis, presentations, documentation, and follow-up on key operational activities. Your role is to also support us in driving the collaboration meeting with representatives from IT delivery teams and supporting the future roadmap and maturation of the ways of working within the team. You’ll help track action lists and support coordination across ongoing team tasks while contributing to process improvements, automation, and the effective use of digital and AI tools in day-to-day work.

 

The role gives you broad exposure across operational support and improvement tasks, from maintaining Power BI reporting and tracking action lists to strengthening internal communication and smarter ways of working across the team

You’ll be part of Service Delivery Management in Portfolio & Performance where you, together with your colleagues, will ensure that Digital Technology supports Ørsted’s business. The Cross functional team consist of Service delivery and Service transition managers engaging across the organization, building and monitoring frameworks and processes, bridging the gap between business and technology, ensuring services maturity for stable operations. We work closely across focus areas and geographies, combining analytical thinking, curiosity, and strong collaboration to solve problems together. In practice, this means sharing knowledge, sparring on tasks, and helping each other across different types of work - from reporting and documentation to stakeholder support and process improvements. As a student assistant, you’ll be trusted with responsibilities while learning from experienced colleagues in an international team environment.

 

You’ll play an important role in:

  • building and maintaining Power BI reporting, including filters, refreshes, and simple DAX-related support
  • analysing data, preparing summaries, and helping ensure the right inputs are collected on time
  • supporting presentations and internal communication material for stakeholders across the team’s and collaboration across technology organization
  • improving and automating existing reporting flows, datasets, and recurring team processes
  • tracking action lists, following up on activities, and helping create structure around team priorities
  • enhancing documentation and using AI tools to support smarter, more efficient ways of working.

 

To succeed in the role, you:

  • are currently enrolled in a relevant degree within business, IT, data, or a related field at either the last year of your Bachelor degree or first year of your Master’s degree
  • have strong analytical skills and enjoy working with data, structure, and business-oriented problem solving
  • can work confidently in tools such as Excel, Power BI, SharePoint, and have practice with AI tools – Python experience is a nice to have but is not necessary
  • speak and write English fluently and can communicate clearly with colleagues and stakeholders in a professional way
  • are a fast learner who is curious, self-driven, and comfortable taking ownership of your tasks
  • collaborate well with others and thrive in an international team where cooperation across functions and locations is key.

Position salary range: 

For this role, the base pay will be determined according to the relevant pay structure for the location where the position is filled. Actual pay will be based on skills, experience, and the expected role fulfilment to ensure a fair and competitive offer. Where applicable, you may also be eligible for variable payment and a comprehensive benefits package. Pay details specific to your location will be provided during the interview process.
