Student Assistant in Digital Innovation

Join us in this role where you’ll assist our growing group of digital innovators and strategists. Your main tasks will be to support identifying, scoping, prioritising, and maturing high-value AI and advanced modelling use cases across various business areas. You’ll also craft presentations for high-level decision makers and take on general project management and portfolio management tasks to ensure successful delivery of our initiatives.

You’ll be part of Digital Innovation Strategy where you, together with your colleagues, will support the advancement of strategic initiatives, develop a network of partnerships with academic institutions and tech companies, democratise AI across the organisation, and scout ahead to ensure that we remain at the forefront of digital developments. You’ll also learn how to apply the ‘consultant toolbox’ in a corporate setting. We are part of a bigger team of AI & Data Science specialists as well as Modelling & Optimisation experts who drive the digital innovation agenda across the organisation. You’ll play an important role in:

  • bridging the latest digital technology capabilities with our business model to understand where technologies, such as AI, can give us a competitive advantage
  • ensuring a high standard and clear communication of complex digital concepts in all materials to facilitate strategic decision-making, incl. crafting compelling slide decks and storylines
  • preparing, participating in, and potentially hosting interviews and workshops as part of our endeavours to identify high value use cases for AI and advanced modelling
  • supporting our initiatives to democratise AI and upskill colleagues across the organisation, incl. AI community work, networking activities, and supporting our AI training activities for all our employees
  • conducting market research and AI application scouting to identify new opportunities and inspire the business
  • supporting on administrative and communications tasks related to a company-wide innovation programme focusing on targeted AI and advanced modelling projects.

 

To succeed in the role, you:

  • are currently enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s degree at the intersection of business administration and IT, digital business, computer science, artificial intelligence, or a similar field
  • have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, ideally proven in case competitions at the university level
  • have a passion for digital technology, artificial intelligence, and strategic thinking, and a strong flair for bridging business thinking with digital technology capabilities
  • enjoy communicating with stakeholders at different levels of the organisation and have a very good command of English
  • have a basic understanding of project management principles and possess strong skills within PowerPoint, Miro, and Excel, as well as being able to creatively visualise and communicate ideas
  • are a fast learner, pro-active and self-motivated with a systematic approach to work, to manage time effectively and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
