Student Assistant in People Analytics

Join us in this role where you’ll support our mission to turn data into actionable insights that improve employee experience and business outcomes.

Welcome to Organisational Transformation
You’ll be part of People Analytics & Insights where you, together with your colleagues, will drive Ørsted’s people data strategy and deliver impactful insights across the employee lifecycle. As part of a small, dynamic team, you’ll help shape the products and analytics that support recruitment, performance, engagement, and well-being. You’ll collaborate closely with teams in Finance, QHSE, and Global People Services, and work alongside our Senior Analyst to support ad hoc analytics requests, conduct deep dives, and contribute to product development.

As a team, we value curiosity, clarity, and impact—working together to turn complex data into contextualised stories.

You’ll play an important role in:

  • supporting data-driven decision-making by analysing people metrics across the business
  • conducting deep dives into topics like pay equity, turnover, and engagement
  • cleaning and preparing raw data from multiple systems
  • creating insights and narratives to answer open-ended business questions
  • collaborating with stakeholders to ensure data accuracy and relevance.

To succeed in the role, you:

  • are currently enrolled in a master’s programme in data science, computer science, mathematics, physics, business analytics, or a related field
  • have experience working with data – either through internships or academic projects
  • are familiar with analytical tools and languages such as Python or similar
  • can work independently and communicate insights clearly
  • are available to work 15–20 hours per week and ideally have at least two years left in your studies.

Maybe you’ve read the above and can see you have some transferable skills, even though they don’t quite match all the points. If you think you can bring something to the team, we still encourage you to apply.
