Warranty Manager for technical and contractual claims

Welcome to Global Commercial Operations
You’ll be part of TSA & Warranty Management team where you, together with your colleagues, will work in a dynamic global environment, collaborating with a team of experts based in the UK, Denmark, the US, and Taiwan. Our diverse team comprises of technical, legal, and commercial specialists, and together, we foster a collaborative culture to effectively address industry-shaping warranty cases. As a team, we nurture a lively, team-working culture while skilfully addressing impactful warranty cases by seamlessly combining technical, commercial, and legal expertise.

 

You’ll play an important role in:

  • managing legal warranty claims and ensuring that all contractual requirements in the TSA with respect to such claims are meticulously complied by our wind turbine generator and BoP suppliers
  • taking the lead in project managing and coordinating warranty claim processes, activities, and internal stakeholders to ensure a successful outcome of the warranty claims
  • providing legal and technical expertise and support for warranty claims
  • leading defect investigations and technical assessments
  • negotiating settlements and offering guidance for successful outcomes
  • fostering a collaborative work culture within the team.

 

To succeed in the role, you:

  • hold a master’s degree in e.g., laws, business administration or commercial law, or have equivalent technical or engineering led experience and have some relevant working experience with contracts
  • work in a highly structured manner with attention to detail
  • plan and prioritise work to meet commitments aligned with organisational goals and to foresee and resolve potential bottlenecks and delays
  • have a great desire to engage with people across various business, legal, and technical functions, and cultures, and you enjoy establishing relationships with your stakeholders, all while having fun
  • thrive on seeing technical issues from a legal and commercial viewpoint and finding the optimal legal and commercial solution via negotiations or legal escalation
  • have professional proficiency in English and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
