Operations Manager

Imagine a future where safe, reliable operations help maximise the performance of offshore wind farms while empowering people to deliver their best every day.

Join us in this role where you’ll lead the daily execution of operations and maintenance activities at site level. You’ll help ensure safe, efficient, and reliable performance while supporting operational targets across availability, yield, and cost. Working closely with site leadership and operational specialists, you'll enable continuous improvement and strong team performance across the hub.

Welcome to Generation Central Europe
You’ll be part of our Anholt Hub, where you together with your colleagues will ensure the safe and efficient operation of offshore wind assets. Working across operations, planning, engineering, HSE, and continuous improvement functions, you'll play a key role in delivering operational excellence and managing a team of around 20 high-performing technicians. As a team, we succeed as one, care for each other, and continuously look for better ways to deliver renewable energy safely and reliably.

You’ll play an important role in:

  • leading the safe and compliant execution of operational and maintenance activities.

  • supporting technicians through coaching, development, and day-to-day leadership.

  • translating operational plans into effective daily execution and resource allocation.

  • making operational decisions to manage priorities, risks, and changing conditions.

  • driving continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, and productivity.

  • collaborating with stakeholders to deliver strong operational performance and site targets.

To succeed in the role, you:

  • have strong people leadership and line management capabilities.

  • have experience from safety-critical operational environments.

  • have a technical background within electrical, mechanical, or equivalent experience.

  • demonstrate strong planning, coordination, and execution skills.

  • communicate clearly and build effective relationships across teams and stakeholders.

  • are comfortable using digital tools, reporting data, and presentations to support decision-making.

Maybe you've read the above and can see you have some transferable skills, even though they don't quite match all the points. If you think you can bring something to the team, we still encourage you to apply.

Please note that this role is office based in Anholt, and requires the successful candidate to reside within a one hour commute of the office.
