Contract Manager UK East

Join us in this role where you will be handling end to end contract activities such as pipeline demand, claims, preparing variation orders, driving the contractual agenda with suppliers, and monitoring their performance.

 

Welcome to Contract Management within UK East
You’ll be part of the Contract Management Team in the UK East Hub where you, together with your colleagues, will be responsible for managing key supplier contracts in connection with the UK East Offshore Windfarm Fleet and maximizing the value of our assets. Additionally, you’ll participate in sourcing initiatives working closely with Procurement in category management and negotiation. You’ll play an important role in:

  • developing strong and sustainable relationships with suppliers and internal colleagues, working towards mutual success
  • providing clear contractual advice and recommendations to internal stakeholders
  • proactively managing risk and seeking commercial optimisation opportunities from our contracts
  • managing the rights, KPI’s, obligations and performance metrics in our contracts, supporting with optimisation of contract strategy and risk mitigation
  • end to end management and facilitation of our contracts incl. pipeline demand, scope facilitation, commercial levers, performance reviews, disputes, negotiations and contract close out.
  • collaborating across the Commercial and Operational teams to optimise asset profitability (EBITDA and NPV).

 

To succeed in the role, you:

  • have experience with commercial, contract, and/or project management
  • possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a demonstrable track record of providing evidence-based assessments and recommendations to internal and external stakeholders
  • have commercial and operational insight, negotiation experience and an understanding of the levers for improving the financial performance of assets
  • have proven supplier relationship management skills, enabling you to communicate professionally with key business partners whilst maintaining contractual and business objectives and striving for excellence
  • have a structured and analytical approach to your work, with a keen eye for detail enabling you to manoeuvre and deliver business-critical, value adding results
  • excel in relationship management, building and maintaining strong partnerships coupled with strong communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills for managing internal and external stakeholders across a wide breadth of activities in relation to contract management.
