Associate Lead Financial Accountant
Join us in this role where you’ll be responsible for a broad set of complex financial reporting processes concerning the Group’s legal entities, incl. month-end closing, reconciliations, preparation of local financial statements, and performing internal controls. You’ll play a crucial role in continuous improvements in our financial reporting processes, aided by your deep knowledge in the field. In this role, you’ll use your significant experience to ensure that our finances are handled in a professional, efficient, and effective way.

You’ll be part of Financial Accounting Global Support team where you, part of the accounting Task Force function, together with your colleagues, will be responsible for delivering standardised, high quality, and timely accounting and reporting products within FAC. As a team, we create a workplace culture centred around teamwork and development through close collaboration with our colleagues and stakeholders within and outside of the FAC department.
You’ll play an important role in:
- Leading and managing complex financial reporting processes for the Group’s legal entities, including month-end closing, reconciliations, preparation of local financial statements, and internal controls.
- Driving and championing continuous improvement initiatives, challenging the status quo, and implementing best practices in financial reporting and process optimization.
- Anchoring and delivering specialized accounting projects, often with cross-regional or cross-functional scope (APAC, US, Europe).
- Performing high quality reconciliation, supported by clear documentation and managing of historical balance sheet clean up
- Collaborating closely with stakeholders within and outside the FAC department to deliver standardized, timely, and high-quality accounting and reporting products.
- Taking ownership of various ad hoc accounting tasks and provide support to colleagues across different regions
To succeed in the role, you:
- Have a bachelor’s degree in accounting, controlling, or similar (ACA-qualified) and are fluent in written and spoken English
- Possess subject matter expertise in financial reporting, supported by substantial and relevant experience gained within either a public accounting firm or the controlling department of an international company, with comprehensive knowledge of IFRS or local GAAP(-s)
- Exhibit strong leadership, project management, and stakeholder engagement skills, with a proven track record of driving improvement projects and delivering results in a dynamic environment.
- Demonstrates proficiency in using Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint, and has experience working with financial accounting ERPs such as SAP and Hyperion, as well as reconciliation software like Cadency.
- Are results-oriented and set visible and relevant goals for your tasks and are a problem-solver with a positive can-do attitude.
