HR Legal Partner, Fixed Term Contract

Imagine a future where you help shape fair, compliant, and people-focused workplaces across APAC through expert legal guidance and trusted partnerships

Join us in this role where you’ll act as a trusted advisor to leaders and HR on employment law and employee relations matters. You’ll support organisational change and guide decisions that are compliant, pragmatic, and aligned with our people values, combining strategic advisory work with hands-on case handling.

Welcome to HR Legal & Employee Relations

You’ll be part of HR Legal & Employee Relations where you, together with your colleagues, will advise on employment law, manage employee relations matters, and support organisational changes across APAC, primarily Malaysia and Taiwan. You’ll collaborate closely with HR Business Partners and stakeholders to deliver consistent, practical legal solutions across markets.

As a team, we value trust, collaboration, and sound judgement, and we support each other in delivering pragmatic, people-focused outcomes.

You’ll play an important role in:

  • advising on employment law, policies, and terms of employment across APAC
  • implementing new legislation and maintaining relevant templates and guidance
  • partnering with leaders and HR Business Partners to balance legal risk with business needs
  • managing employee relations cases, including dismissals, warnings, and settlement agreements
  • supporting organisational changes, including restructuring and redundancy processes
  • contributing to knowledge sharing and coordination across teams and geographies.

To succeed in the role, you:

  • bring strong experience within employment law and employee relations case management
  • apply a pragmatic, solution-oriented advisory style balancing legal, business, and people considerations
  • build trust with stakeholders through clear, confident communication and sound judgement
  • navigate complex situations with integrity and professionalism
  • collaborate effectively and contribute to a high-performing, cohesive team
  • hold a relevant legal qualification or equivalent experience.

Maybe you’ve read the above and can see you have some transferable skills, even though they don’t quite match all the points. If you think you can bring something to the team, we still encourage you to apply.

Please note that this is a fixed-term position until 31 December 2027.
