Lead AI Engineer

Join us in this role, where you will help create the agentic software engineering roadmap and development across Orsted. You will be responsible for ensuring that our platform and its components are delivered in line with agentic software development, security, quality, and operations standards, following established best practices while providing a great developer experience.

 

Welcome to Ørsted AI Ecosystem
You’ll be part of Ørsted Agentic Software Development team where you will lead the technical team to develop the platform harness for agentic software development.

 

You’ll play an important role in:

  • supporting the design and execution of the software engineering roadmap for agentic software development.
  • applying strong technical expertise and hands-on development skills to guide the team and deliver key initiatives.
  • collaborating closely with stakeholders/developers to identify barriers to adopting agentic software development and implement effective solutions.
  • monitoring industry trends in agentic software development and adapting relevant practices to meet enterprise requirements.

 

To succeed in the role, you:

  • have a solid software engineering background, with a deep understanding of established software engineering and DevOps principles and best practices.
  • have hands-on experience developing AI agents, including their core components such as skills, integrations, memory, and orchestration.
  • have a strong delivery mindset and the ability to collaborate with stakeholders to identify and remove roadblocks.
  • are a good collaborator with strong communication skills and the ability to engage effectively with developers at all levels.
  • are passionate about advancing and transforming the software development craft

Position salary range: 

For this role, the base pay will be determined according to the relevant pay structure for the location where the position is filled. Actual pay will be based on skills, experience, and the expected role fulfilment to ensure a fair and competitive offer. Where applicable, you may also be eligible for variable payment and a comprehensive benefits package. Pay details specific to your location will be provided during the interview process.
