You’ll be part of a unit of skilled professionals where you, together with your colleagues, will deliver value to the business across our IT organisation. Our main products service the Wind Power and Thermal Power business units. The team is part of our international IT department, which counts more than 500 skilled and dedicated colleagues working closely together with the different business units across Northern Europe and in Malaysia.  


You’ll play an important role in:  

  • providing technical leadership and support to the application development team and becoming the team focal point for system and enterprise architecture, ensuring the correct runway 

  • collaborating with other stakeholders to ensure the architecture is aligned with business requirements 

  • ensuring that uniform enterprise-wide application design standards are maintained, providing technical solutions and design, developing prototypes, and handling hands-on development when required 

  • handling Azure programming (Event Hub, Azure Kubernetes), AzureDevOps, .NET Core, and Docker and creating and maintaining software solutions through Agile SAFe framework adoption in an optimised scrum process 

  • providing technical input to the product owner in establishing an applications architecture roadmap in compliance with the system and enterprise architecture standard 

  • driving innovation and continuous technical improvement. 


To succeed in the role, you:  

  • have an academic degree at bachelor’s level and/or a relevant Microsoft certification for .Net 

  • have expertise in the design, development, and deployment of enterprise-level N-tier architecture in a Microsoft .NET framework (or Java Enterprise Edition platform may be required) 

  • have experience in cloud development and application design, preferably Microsoft Azure, and have good knowledge and development experience in Cloud Design Patterns and development in Microsoft .Net C# 

  • possess good verbal and written communication skills, are able to articulate business and technical requirements, and autonomously make technical decisions while taking input from others into account 

  • have experience with relevant development tools and specific application and system architecture, in addition to having a strong understanding of object-oriented design, advocating the clean code principle 

  • have a continuous improvement and can-do mindset, can be the role model in initiating and driving innovation, and can think out of the box to reach the desired outcome.
