Model Developer

Join us in this role where you’ll develop cost estimation models, budget estimating tools and ensure we capture insights from our existing portfolio and the market.

 

Welcome to Bid & Costing Excellence
You’ll be part of CAPEX Modelling & Tool team where you will work closely with colleagues in Kuala Lumpur and collaborate with project colleagues across Europe. You will become a valued member of our global CAPEX Portal project that consists of 8 team members, equally distributed between our own line function and the IT department.

 

As a team, we embrace different perspectives and collaborate internally to solve tasks together. We foster strong collaboration with our two sister teams in Bid & Costing Excellence being Cost Estimation and Supply Chain Cost Intelligence.

 

We strive to be in the office 3 days a week and are flexible with working from home.

You’ll play an important role in:

  • building and standardising tools and models for cost estimation
  • assisting in creating analytical tools to gain insights from our portfolio and market
  • ensuring the quality and availability of the tools you help develop
  • focusing on integrating IT tools and learning industry best practices.

 

To succeed in the role, you:

  • are eager to learn and have some experience with MS Excel, SQL, and programming languages
  • are familiar with Python and Typescript is a bonus
  • are proactive, structured, and ready to tackle complex tasks
  • communicate well and enjoy building relationships with global colleagues.
