Welcome to Cloud Platforms Product Suite
You’ll be part of Cloud Platforms Product Suite, AWS Product Enablement team where you, together with your colleagues, will standardize the AWS platform services the rest of the organization uses to run in the cloud seamlessly. We productize these as self-service, opinionated building blocks. As a team, we work in an environment that values collaboration, learning, and teamwork. You’ll play an important role in:

• suporting the development and improvement of standardized AWS services and native cloud services (e.g. compute, databases, storage) as opinionated, self-service product solutions with built-in guardrails
• designing and standardizing AWS services to enable scalable, reusable, and self-service platform capabilities (e.g. EC2, RDS, S3, EKS, EFS, FSx, SNS) 
• enabling self-service through automation using Infrastructure as Code to build standardized services and deliver them through the internal developer platform (IDP)
• treating security and governance as design inputs, not aftermaths e.g IAM, encryption, tagging, and monitoring shipped with the service    
• collaborating with product owners, architects, and application development teams to support Products onboarding, adoption and migrations. 

To succeed in the role, you:

• have strong hands-on AWS experience in complex, multi-account environments (Landing Zone, Control Tower, or equivalent)
• have experience working with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation as well as CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions
• have experience implementing governance, guardrails, and security controls (e.g. AWS IAM, baseline configurations, encryptions)
• have experience supporting containerized workloads on Docker and Amazon EKS enabling Business teams to deploy and scale their own applications.  
• are familiar with observability practices and tools (e.g. CloudWatch)
• understand platform engineering principles such as standardization and reusability

• are omfortable building self-service capabilities and golden paths that reduce cognitive load for consuming teams.
