Senior Cloud DevOps Engineer

Imagine a future where you use digital technology to drive global growth and help create a world that runs entirely on green energy.

Join us in this role where you’ll work with innovative cloud solutions in a digitalized and evolving environment. You’ll support the development of secure, scalable, and reusable cloud platforms that enable faster delivery and stronger resilience across the organization.

Welcome to Cloud Platforms Product Suite
You’ll be part of Cloud Platforms Product Suite, AWS Product Enablement team where you, together with your colleagues, will develop core products based on cloud technology across the full lifecycle. As a team, we work in an environment that values collaboration, learning, and teamwork. We support each other’s growth and create a culture where care, integrity, and shared success are part of everyday work.

You’ll play an important role in:

  • Support the development and improvement of standardized AWS services (e.g. compute, databases, storage) as opinionated, self-service product solutions with built-in guardrails.
  • designing and standardizing AWS services to enable scalable, reusable, and self-service platform capabilities (e.g. EC2, RDS, S3, EKS, EFS, FSx, SNS)
  • enabling self-service through automation using Infrastructure as Code
  • embedding security and governance by design, including IAM, encryption, tagging, and monitoring
  • ensuring operational readiness, including monitoring, backup, restore, and cost optimization
  • collaborating with product owners, architects, and application teams to support onboarding and cloud adoption

To succeed in the role, you:

  • have strong hands-on experience with AWS in complex or multi-account environments
  • have experience working with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation as well as CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions
  • have experience implementing governance, guardrails, and security controls (e.g. IAM, baseline configurations)
  • are familiar with observability practices and tools (e.g. CloudWatch)
  • understand platform engineering principles such as standardization and reusability

Maybe you’ve read the above and can see you have some transferable skills, even though they don’t quite match all the points. If you think you can bring something to the team, we still encourage you to apply.
