Senior Software Engineer

Join us in this role where you’ll create business value by developing and boosting the functionality of IT products for SMARTPlant. You’ll be responsible for enabling both web-based and Windows clients with .Net applications and visualizing complexity in a simple, user-friendly way.

You’ll be part of development team where you, together with your colleagues, will enhance and support business applications, incl. fuel trading, logistics management, power distribution management, etc. The .Net team is part of our international IT department which counts more than 500 skilled and dedicated colleagues working closely together with business units across Northern Europe and in Malaysia. You’ll play an important role in:

  • developing and maintaining extended functionality on IT products for SMARTPlant
  • working closely with internal and external consultants and key resources on the business side
  • programming in Angular2+, Azure/AWS Cloud, WPF, .NET Framework, PowerShell, ASP.Net, ASP.NET Core, and SQL Server
  • participating in daily stand-up meetings, sprint reviews, and planning meetings with Danish colleagues
  • ensuring optimization of the scrum process.

 

To succeed in the role, you:

  • have a relevant bachelor’s degree or a relevant Microsoft certification for .NET
  • advocate clean coding principles and development of best practices, such as SOLID or DRY, and are object-oriented
  • have a proven track record in and experience with development in Microsoft .NET C#, WPF, and Github
  • are familiar with the Windows Server platform and are able to switch and enhance the applications built by legacy to the latest technologies
  • have experience working with HTML5, SASS, Angular2+, Typescript/JavaScript, Database design, SQL Server, TSQL, WCF/RESTful services, security/performance, MVC4 upwards, MVVM, WPF, and Cloud Platform
  • speak and write English fluently.
