ServiceNow SACM Manager

Join us in this role where you’ll lay a key role in a team that maintains stability of operations and develops truly global solutions for the ServiceNow platform. We need you in IT to help us develop and deliver sustainable world-class IT solutions.

Welcome to ServiceNow IPL
You’ll be part of Global ServiceNow Team where you, together with your colleagues will be working on the Service Asset & Configuration Management (SACM) process, which involves the implementation and governance of Configuration Management Database (CMDB) and IT Asset Management (ITAM) modules. This includes enhancing the product based on best practices and architectural standards, as well as engaging with internal customers to ensure strategic alignment and an optimized end-user experience.  You’ll also create requirement specification, shape and optimise our daily operations through ServiceNow. As a team, we work in an agile delivery organisation in Ørsted IT and are a fun, engaging and supportive group of technical professionals.

You’ll play an important role in:

  • monitoring and maintaining accurate records of all CIs and their relationships within the Configuration Management Database (CMDB) and IT Asset Management (ITAM)
  • managing CIs/Assets throughout their lifecycle, ensuring data integrity and compliance with established procedures
  • supporting changes to CIs and ensure proper version control, baselines, and attribute tracking, while also developing reports to monitor CMDB health by measuring data completeness and accuracy
  • generating reports on compliance, performance trends, and potential security vulnerabilities
  • supporting efficient Service Management operations through accurate configuration data management, supporting the expansion of the CMDB scope in our enterprise, as well as supporting CSDM, and ITOM.

To succeed in the role, you:

  • have practical experience with ITOM and CSDM implementation and operations as well as strong understanding of CMDB and ITAM structures and CI relationships/Service mapping
  • have experience in IT and OT Configuration Management, ITIL, and related IT Service Management (ITSM) practices
  • can analyse data, generate reports, and ensure compliance with IT policies
  • have strong collaboration and communication skills to work with cross-functional teams
  • have proficiency in ITSM tools and are fluent in both written and spoken English.

Maybe you’ve read the above and can see you have some transferable skills, even though they don’t quite match all the points. If you think you can bring something to the team, we still encourage you to apply.
