Global Head of Compliance and Reliability

Join us in this role where you’ll manage our Compliance and Reliability teams in all our regions across the globe, ensuring a compliance and reliability presence across all stages of asset lifetime, maintaining our licences to operate in each country.

Welcome to Global Compliance and Reliability
You’ll be part of the Compliance and Reliability department where you, together with your colleagues, will support top management in developing and maintaining an appropriate compliance culture. You’ll be the escalation point for all licence compliance matters with external grid operators and regulators and you’ll manage compliance and reliability across multiple regions, including the EU, APAC, and America.  As a team, we foster a collaborative and inclusive culture, ensuring that we support each other in achieving our goals.

You’ll play an important role in:

  • overseeing compliance with generation licence requirements in all operating regions
  • ensuring relevant Ørsted personnel are trained and competent in compliance aspects
  • managing compliance assurance processes during the asset project phase
  • investigating potential compliance breaches and providing actionable recommendations
  • being the generation licence Compliance Officer, attending the Compliance Committee and reporting compliance risks to CEO level
  • representing Ørsted in external compliance investigations and negotiations.

To succeed in the role, you:

  • have extensive experience in the power industry
  • possess some experience working with compliance and working with asset management of HV assets
  • have a good understanding of the legal and practical aspects of ‘grid codes’
  • demonstrate excellent leadership and team management skills
  • demonstrate excellent influencing skills coupled with the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels
  • have a strong motivation for operational excellence, driving best practices.

Maybe you’ve read the above and can see you have some transferable skills, even though they don’t quite match all the points. If you think you can bring something to the team, we still encourage you to apply.
