Head Of Generation UK Procurement and Supply Chain

Join us in this role where you’ll lead and develop the Generation UK Procurement & Supply Chain organisation, ensuring reliable delivery of offshore logistics, materials and services, strong supplier partnerships, and commercial competitiveness that supports operational optimisation and asset performance across Generation (Operations & Maintenance).

 

Welcome to Offshore Generation Procurement
You’ll be part of Generation UK Procurement & Supply chain where you, together with your colleagues, will will enable operational excellence by aligning hub procurement and supply chain activities with global strategies and local O&M priorities. You’ll work closely with the Generation UK leadership team, global Procurement & Supply Chain, and Operational Excellence to ensure scalable, future ready procurement and supply chain capabilities.

You’ll play an important role in:

  • defining and implementing the Generation UK Procurement & Supply chain strategy and roadmap
  • leading hub category management, sourcing, contract management, and supply chain execution in alignment with global frameworks
  • ensuring reliable, safe, and efficient delivery of materials, offshore logistics and services to support Generation
  • owning supplier relationship management across the hub, including escalation handling and performance optimisation
  • developing organisational capability by leading, mentoring, and empowering the procurement and supply chain team
  • ensuring governance, compliance, and risk management across procurement, contracts, and supply chain operations.

 

To succeed in the role, you:

  • demonstrate strong leadership and strategic direction within procurement and supply chain in complex, asset intensive environments
  • bring deep expertise in category management, sourcing, contract management, supply chain and supplier relationship management
  • show strong commercial acumen, with the ability to optimise cost, value, and total cost of ownership
  • are experienced in managing supply chain risk, resilience, and operational execution in close collaboration with operations
  • communicate effectively with senior stakeholders and align cross functional teams around shared priorities.
  • hold a degree in supply chain management, procurement, engineering, business administration, or equivalent experience
