Lead Commercial Manager

Imagine a future where you help drive the commercial performance of one of the world’s largest offshore wind farms while strengthening trusted partnerships that support a sustainable future.

Join us in this role where you’ll manage a key joint venture partnership and contribute to maximising the value of a large offshore wind asset. You’ll take ownership of commercial activities, build strong external relationships, and support strategic decision-making to ensure long-term performance and value creation.

Welcome to Generation UK
You’ll be part of the UKE Commercial Management team where you, together with your colleagues, will manage joint venture partnerships and optimise asset performance across our offshore wind portfolio. You’ll collaborate closely with teams across finance, operations, engineering, insurance, and legal, as well as peers across markets. As a team, we support each other to succeed as one, act with integrity, and focus on delivering safe and sustainable results.

You’ll play an important role in:

  • managing the day-to-day relationship with joint venture partners and key external stakeholders, ensuring alignment with contractual, financial, and legal obligations
  • preparing materials and recommendations for board and steering committee meetings to enable effective decision-making
  • driving strong collaboration and governance within partnerships, with a focus on safety, performance, and long-term value
  • addressing commercial matters across partnerships, ensuring compliance and supporting optimal asset performance
  • leading and facilitating commercial discussions, including negotiations and resolution of contractual matters
  • identifying risks and opportunities, contributing to improved asset profitability and long-term business outcomes.

To succeed in the role, you:

  • bring strong interest in renewable energy and offshore wind
  • communicate clearly and build effective relationships with stakeholders at different organisational levels
  • have strong commercial insight, economic modelling capability and an understanding of the main levers for improving the financial performance of assets; negotiation experience will be an advantage
  • have experience within commercial management, contract management, project management, or equivalent experience
  • approach work in a structured and adaptable way, prioritising safety and acting with integrity
  • contribute positively to team collaboration, showing accountability and a focus on achieving results.

Maybe you’ve read the above and can see you have some transferable skills, even though they don’t quite match all the points. If you think you can bring value to the team, we still encourage you to apply.
