Lead Project Risk Manager

Join us in this role where you’ll be responsible for leading the implementation of risk management in a major offshore wind project, as part of Project Services Organization in close collaboration with Planners, Change Managers and Package Managers, in a truly Integrated Project Controls environment.

 

Welcome to Project Risk Management team
You’ll be part of the Project Risk Management team where you will ensure compliance and deliver high-quality Project Risk Management across our offshore wind portfolio. where you, together with your colleagues, will report directly to the Project Controls Director and ensure adherence to the Project Risk Management Framework, working with cost and schedule quantitative analysis, validating data and the modelling for contingency. You’ll play a significant role in process optimization, aided by your significant experience in capital projects, ensuring that project members work with risk management in a professional and effective way, contributing to overall culture and perception around risk management.

As a team, we support each other in solving the most interesting tasks. We make use of the individual skillsets in and ensure that all team members have challenging tasks.

 

You’ll play an important role in:

  • leading the implementation of the project risk management framework, including setting up the strategy and systems for optimal delivery
  • supporting the project leadership team in establishing and driving a risk culture within the project organisation, including training and reinforcement of risk concepts and culture
  • creating risk narratives with project leadership to present and compare the project risk profile in different scenarios
  • running risk workshops to identify and assess cost and schedule risks, validating data, running quantitative modelling, and reporting probabilistic distributions and selected percentiles
  • integrating with finance and planning functions to report confidence levels for cost and schedule assumptions.

 

To succeed in the role, you:

  • can thrive in a changing environment and work together with other Project Controls disciplines
  • have significant experience as a risk manager in major infrastructure projects, being knowledgeable on change management and planning
  • possess the relevant academic background or professional experience demonstrating strong capacity to work with quantitative modelling and related statistical outputs, especially in analysing probabilistic distributions from cost and schedule risks
  • demonstrate strong leadership skills with a proactive and cooperative approach to working with team members and key stakeholders in project leadership
  • have excellent communication skills and the ability to tailor your approach and present complex information to broad audiences.
