Project Quality Manager for Hornsea 4 Project

Join us in this role where you’ll use your leadership skills to ensure a fit for use quality management system is embedded throughout the project.  We offer a unique and varied experience where you’ll leverage gate review process and risk management as part of managing quality, as well as ensuring effective capturing of nonconformities, confirming implementation of corrective actions, focusing on continual improvement, implementing lessons learned, as well as driving reduction in the Cost of Poor Quality.

You’ll be part of the global Project Quality Management Team where you, together with your colleagues, will ensure the quality of Hornsea 4 wind farm.  You will also be part of the global Project Quality Management team. We are embedded into the project supporting the project team in delivering our quality requirements.

As a team, we drive Offshore Wind quality and culture. Globally, the PQM team, shares knowledge and experiences to drive best practices.

 

You’ll play an important role in:

  • acting as subject matter expert in managing Quality through providing guidance to execution projects while deploying the holistic and risk-based quality programme
  • performing quality due diligence to ensure that adequate quality requirements are defined and adhered to
  • ensuring implementation of the quality programme
  • ensuring that quality matters are high on the agenda in all workstreams, and quality awareness is in focus amongst all colleagues, contractors, and stakeholders
  • reporting and monitoring Quality KPIs and quality performance
  • embedding a quality culture on all aspects of project execution, fostering an environment of continual improvement, and evolving the culture of Quality within the organization.

 

To succeed in the role, you:

  • have relevant professional or academic background, including experience managing quality within offshore projects. Experience managing quality on major construction projects is a plus
  • have a structured approach toward addressing quality challenges and be conscious about interpersonal sensitivities when working within diverse teams including our international environment
  • can communicate proactively, in a clear and precise manner, and be able to present to various internal and external stakeholders
  • lead by example when it comes to quality and can remain calm even if pressure is getting high and resistance is met by colleagues, contractors, or stakeholders
  • can effectively identify and champion areas of improvement and are not afraid of challenge common practice when appropriate
