Commerical Structuring Manager

Join us in this role where you’ll Join us in this role where you’ll provide commercial and analytical support to all groups within Americas, i.e., Development, Engineering & Construction, Origination, P2X, and Project Finance.

 

Welcome to Commercial Americas
You’ll be part of Commercial Structuring where you, together with your colleagues, will support Americas growth strategy and assess commercial viability of onshore development projects. As a team, we develop and instil commercial knowledge and a culture of commercial excellence throughout different functions and teams in the onshore business.

 

You’ll play an important role in:

  • supporting pricing, structuring, and risk assessment for third-party revenue contracts on Americas projects.
  • support pricing, structuring, risk assessment, and execution of Affiliate Offtake contracts for Americas projects.
  • managing analysts staffed to each project through task management and planning, review of analyst work, and general accountability for the timing and quality of deliverables of analyst resources.
  • training and developing analyst resources for the Americas Commercial and Valuation teams.
  • working closely with Decision Support in providing finance and origination-related input to approval requests, i.e., Steerco, Americas IC, GET.
  • supporting growth, development, and M&A groups in assessing commercial viability of longer-term strategic initiatives.

 

To succeed in the role, you:

  • have 3+ years experience in energy finance or business development in the renewable energy sector.
  • have superior analytical and financial modelling skills.
  • have a strong understanding of all value drivers of renewable project economics, including tax equity financing structures, offtake structures, and equipment supply and service agreements.
  • can manage multiple tasks and drive high-level performance from team members in a deadline-driven environment.
  • Have excellent communication skills including experience in preparing written presentation materials for executive leadership teams.
  • hold a Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, or engineering.
