Senior Manager of Strategy

Imagine a future where you shape how large energy consumers power their growth, while strengthening Ørsted’s commercial strategy and datadriven decisionmaking.

Join us in this role where you’ll lead the commercial development of data center and large load projects, while contributing to strategy formation and advanced market and revenue analytics. You’ll work across functions to mature new business models, structure competitive offers, and bring robust market insight to onshore generation and load projects.

Welcome to Revenue and Strategy
You’ll be part of the Revenue and Strategy team where you, together with your colleagues, will drive commercial strategy, market analysis, and new growth opportunities across wind, solar, storage, and large load solutions. You’ll work closely with origination, development, trading, finance, and analytics teams to move complex opportunities from early ideation to execution. As a team, we collaborate openly, challenge assumptions with data, and support each other in delivering practical, high‑impact solutions.

You’ll play an important role in:

  • leading commercial development of wind, solar, and storage projects serving data centers and other large load customers from early conceptualization through contract execution.

  • building and managing relationships with data center customers, utilities, advisors, and other external stakeholders.

  • coordinating cross‑functional teams to structure competitive offers and progress projects toward final investment decisions.

  • supporting strategy initiatives such as new market entry, large load strategy, and development of new business models.

  • developing and improving revenue models, pricing tools, and market analytics to support commercial decision‑making.

  • shaping and maintaining data architectures that enable scalable, automated revenue and market analysis.

To succeed in the role, you:

  • have strong experience with commercial strategy, large energy customers, and complex energy transactions, or equivalent experience.

  • understand US power markets, tariffs, interconnection processes, and structured energy products.

  • are comfortable working with market data, revenue models, and quantitative analysis to inform decisions.

  • communicate clearly with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders, including senior decision‑makers.

  • bring a structured, analytical, and collaborative approach to solving complex commercial problems.

  • are motivated by building new opportunities and improving how teams use data to drive results.

Maybe you’ve read the above and can see you have some transferable skills, even though they don’t quite match all the points. If you think you can bring something to the team, we still encourage you to apply.
