Transmission Technician

Join us in this role where you’ll plan and prepare maintenance, retrofits, and troubleshooting activities for mechanical and LV systems on offshore substations, ensuring all work follows legal and internal safety regulations, and support safe execution by our offshore teams.

You’ll be part of HV and Transmission where you, together with your colleagues, will together with your colleagues, will prepare offshore work tasks, coordinate with Transmission Technicians and Specialists, develop maintenance strategies, and secure the right tools, spare parts, and documentation for safe execution.

As a team, we we collaborate as one, looking out for each other’s safety, and achieve success together.

 

You’ll play an important role in:

  • preparing work activities within LV and auxiliary systems for offshore substations
  • creating risk assessments, work instructions, and operating instructions
  • specifying, selecting, and procuring spare parts and tools
  • contributing to continuous development of maintenance strategies
  • defining work scopes and quality requirements for contractors
  • monitoring and evaluating offshore work carried out by external companies.

 

To succeed in the role, you:

  • have a completed degree within engineering, mechatronics, or electrical engineering, or equivalent experience (EQF level 6)
  • bring experience within maintenance of electrical or mechanical systems, preferably in an offshore environment
  • communicate clearly and collaborate well with others
  • work independently, proactively, and with a safety‑first mindset
  • speak and write English at B2 level or higher, and German at B1 level or higher
  • have strong IT skills across Office tools.
