OMA Business Manager

Join us in this role where you’ll you’ll lead the commercial contract management of Operations and Maintenance Agreements for Ørsted’s North East Hub wind farms, ensuring compliance and optimizing costs. You’ll also develop business cases, gain budget approvals, and communicate asset performance to investor stakeholders

You’ll be part of Northeast Program (NEP) where you, together with your colleagues, will you'll be part of a collaborative and proactive team responsible for the commercial contract management of Operations and Maintenance Agreements for Ørsted’s North East Hub wind farms. The team is global, involving various departments such as Operations, Finance, HSE, and Procurement, and consists of experts in commercial management, technical operations, and stakeholder engagement

You’ll play an important role in:

  • Leading the commercial contract management of agreed Operations and Maintenance Agreements for Ørsted’s North East Hub wind farms
  • Implementing processes to deliver compliant OMA services to the wind farm investors
  • Performing financial oversight of the OMAs, including budgeting, cost recording, billing, and reporting
  • Developing business cases and gain budget approvals
  • Communicating operations and asset performance effectively to investor stakeholders via reporting and high-quality engagement
  • Role modeling safety and ensuring that safety is integral to how we work.

 

To succeed in the role, you:

  • Have 5+ years prior experience in contract management, preferably relating to asset management and commercial management in offshore wind or relevant energy
  • Are able to engage and challenge senior decision makers, stakeholders, and colleagues through teamwork and persuasiveness of arguments
  • Possess effective communication techniques, analytical skills, welcome challenges, be perseverant, commercially minded, and curious
  • Have a strong track record of managing complex commercial contracts and relationships, including direct engagement with senior decision makers and external customers
  • Thrive in driving an efficient process, constantly thinking ahead to pre-empt risks and capture opportunities
  • Hold a  degree in finance, law, business, science, or similar, or possess equivalent experience.
