Product Delivery Manager

Join us in this role, where you’ll collaborate with our Operations and Northeast Program (NEP) teams to help ensure that products are properly scoped, delivered, and implemented to meet the specific needs of projects across the Americas. This position involves overseeing the entire product implementation process and coordinating cross-functional teams to drive innovation and change.

Welcome to Region Americas Operations

You’ll be part of our Americas Operations team, where you, together with your colleagues, will be part of a cross-functional team. You should be able to understand commercial implications such as business cases, business models, IP rights, and contracts with suppliers. Working with suppliers offering innovative services and products requires assessing product readiness and ensuring that the supplier roadmap aligns with Ørsted's objectives. Due to the innovative nature of these projects, this role also entails managing change and facilitating a shift in mindset among stakeholders from routine operations to new technologies or methodologies. As a team, we work on cutting-edge projects and technologies, contributing to the transformation of operations within the Americas region.

You’ll play an important role in:

  • leading the product management and delivery process end-to-end, serving as the focal point for successful implementation
  • coordinating efforts across various teams, including product lines, specialists, Procurement, HSE, Permitting, end-users, and suppliers
  • developing and managing comprehensive project plans, including timelines, milestones, and deliverables
  • preparing decision materials for senior management, ensuring risks are quantified, resources are allocated, budgets are met, and proposals are supported by solid business justification principles
  • maintaining accurate and up-to-date project documentation, ensuring accessibility to relevant stakeholders
  • collaborating with the Program Manager to plan and track deliverables for on-time, on-budget delivery and provide progress reports in the agreed format
  • working closely with the Program and NEP team to identify opportunities for enhancing business cases, implement necessary changes, and promote an innovative mindset.

To succeed in the role, you:

  • have a range of backgrounds that may be suitable, with project management experience being advantageous
  • possess essential qualities, including the right mindset to drive change (being outgoing, adaptable, interested in analyzing and understanding challenges), the ability to comprehend technical subjects, reconcile diverse perspectives and facilitate discussions among specialists
  • understand commercial implications such as business cases, business models, IP rights, and contracts with suppliers
  • have experience working with suppliers offering innovative services and products, assessing product readiness, and ensuring alignment with Ørsted's objectives.

Maybe you’ve read the above and can see you have some transferable skills, even though they don’t quite match all the points. If you think you can bring something to the team, we still encourage you to apply.
