Senior OT Risk Manager

Imagine a future where you turn OT cyber risk management into measurable, value-creating business outcomes

Join us in this role where you’ll take professional leadership in running and continuously improving OT risk management for Ørsted’s global offshore wind operations. You will help ensure that cyber, compliance, and operational risks across Operational Technology environments are identified, assessed, treated, tracked, and communicated in line with our ISO 27001-certified ISMS and ISO 27005-based risk management approach. You’ll work at the intersection of technology, operations, governance, and senior decision-making — translating complex OT risk scenarios into clear, actionable insights for various stakeholders.

Welcome to Ørsted Windpower Operations
You’ll be part of Digital Risk, Assurance & Security Team, within OT Digital & Security where you, together with your colleagues, will work as a diverse, global team with different cultural backgrounds and competencies. Together with colleagues across OT, IT, operations, compliance, corporate risk, and management, you’ll help mature how OT cybersecurity risk is governed, reported, and used to support resilient, secure, and compliant offshore wind operations.

As a team, we collaborate closely across cybersecurity, operations, compliance, and risk functions to solve complex challenges and support secure business growth.

You’ll play an important role in:

  • leading and continuously improving OT risk management processes governed by ISO 27005 and aligned with our ISO 27001-certified ISMS
  • conducting and facilitating structured OT risk assessments, risk workshops, periodic risk reviews, and risk acceptance processes across offshore wind environments
  • operationalizing OT cyber risk strategies into tangible deliverables, reporting mechanisms, metrics, trends, and residual risk insights that support informed decision-making
  • engaging stakeholders across multiple jurisdictions, business functions, and organizational layers
  • acting as a bridge between Operational Technology, Corporate Risk Management, IT, OT operations, compliance entities, procurement, and other relevant organizational functions.

To succeed in the role, you:

  • are outgoing, confident, and credible in your communication, with the ability to engage clearly with stakeholders at all organizational levels — from technical subject matter experts to senior management
  • have strong stakeholder management skills and can operate effectively across cultures, regions, disciplines, and jurisdictional requirements
  • have solid experience with risk management principles, preferably in OT, ICS, critical infrastructure, offshore wind, energy, or industrial environments
  • can communicate complex technical and regulatory risk matters in a simple, structured, and actionable way for non-technical stakeholders
  • bring excellent analytical, written, and verbal communication skills, combined with a structured approach to problem-solving and decision support.

Maybe you’ve read the above and can see you have some transferable skills, even though they don’t quite match all the points. If you think you can bring something to the team, we still encourage you to apply.
