Contract & Warranty Manager

 

Join us in this role where you’ll be commercially responsible for managing and optimising our SWA contracts and supplier relationship management. You’ll manage contracts, assist with change management, conduct renewals, and manage disputes. In addition, you’ll participate in initiatives and develop mutually beneficial relationships towards our key suppliers. All of this is done in close collaboration with our stakeholders in Data Analysis, Engineering and Legal department.

You’ll be part of the SWA Contract Management team where you, together with our colleagues based in Denmark and the UK, will have the responsibility for commercial management of SWA contracts, contract execution, and contract lifecycle management. You'll play an important role in:  

  • Managing commercial issues and claims for SWA, TSA, and BoP contracts, ensuring supplier performance and favorable outcomes
  • Collaborating with global teams across engineering, legal, and analytics to optimize operations and contract execution
  • Feeding insights into future negotiations to keep our contracts cutting-edge
  • Shaping supplier strategies and advising senior stakeholders on global category planning
  • Building strong stakeholder relationships and aligning with contract managers to ensure consistent delivery

 

To succeed in the role, you:

  • have a cross-disciplinary background based on a university degree in economics / law / engineering or equivalent experience, with a broad and in-depth understanding of contract management.
  • have proven experience managing contracts, with proven track record for creating value through contract management activities, by identifying and utilize commercial / technical / legal levers.
  • have experience in collaboration with suppliers, taking responsibility for planning and executing the negotiation process when needed.
  • have a keen interest and ability to understand commercial models in SWA contracts, analyze data, identify compliance gaps, and develop scenarios to optimize value creation for Ørsted.
