SCADA Specialist

Join us in this role where you’ll apply your technical expertise to enhance the reliability of the CHW0102a and CHW2204 cluster wind farms. You’ll leverage your skills to optimize asset performance and coordinate potential solutions with the OEM. In this position, you’ll also provide technical support within the regional setup and collaborate closely with both internal and external stakeholders.

You’ll be part of BoP and SCADA team where you, together with your colleagues, will join a team dedicated to identifying and resolving technical challenges across our operational asset portfolio. In this role, you’ll deliver practical and effective solutions using available tools and methodologies, while collaborating closely with the OEM and various internal functions. Your work will help ensure robust processes and clear communication across multiple sites and regions.

You’ll play an important role in:

  • acts the technical focal point for SCADA systems, ensuring stable operation, troubleshooting issues and collaborating with central functions to manage risks and incidents with clear progress reporting
  • lead short to mid term retrofit and continuous improvement projects, partnering with internal stakeholders, OEMs, and contractors to enhance system reliability, control logic, and data integrity
  • execute SCADA maintenance strategies and plans, including preventive tasks, system health check, configuration updates, and lifecycle management activities
  • supervise contractor and service partners, ensuring adherence to work procedure, service quality, technical compliance and efficient task execution
  • implement and support cybersecurity controls, coordinating with OT security teams to ensure SCAADA systems meet required security standards and polices
  • provide regular updates on SCADA incident handling, summarizing root cause insights, implemented solutions, and required follow up actions from stakeholders.

 

To succeed in the role, you:

  • hold a relevant engineering degree such as mechatronics, electrical engineering, industrial engineering, computer science, or a similar technical discipline
  • have a strong passion for technical investigation and troubleshooting, and enjoy into complex system behaviors to uncover root causes
  • possess solid project management skill, enabling you to plan, coordinate, and deliver improvements or retrofit activities effectively
  • demonstrate sound technical competency in industrial computers, control systems, communication protocols, and network technologies, ideally within SCADA or OT environments
  • adapt well in cross functional environments, collaborating with operations, engineering, OEMs and contractors to resolve issues and enhance system performance
  • communicate clearly and proactively, ensuring stakeholders stay informed during investigations, system changes, and incident handling.
