WTG Engineering Manager

Join us in this role where you’ll apply your technical expertise to enhance the reliability of the CHW0102a and CHW2204 cluster wind farms. You’ll leverage your skills to optimize asset performance and coordinate potential solutions with the OEM. In this position, you’ll also provide technical support within the regional setup and collaborate closely with both internal and external stakeholders.

You’ll be part of WTG Engineering team where you, together with your colleagues, will join a team dedicated to identifying and resolving technical challenges across our operational asset portfolio. In this role, you’ll deliver practical and effective solutions using available tools and methodologies, while collaborating closely with the OEM and various internal functions. Your work will help ensure robust processes and clear communication across multiple sites and regions.

You’ll play an important role in:

  • serve as the primary focal point for technical issues raised by the operation team, ensuring timely troubleshooting and escalating matters to central functions when additional expertise is required
  • analyze WTG performance and apply the DMAIC methodology to address critical lost production factors, driving continuous improvement in turbine reliability and efficiency
  • conduct comprehensive risk assessment and implement appropriate mitigation plans to ensure safe and reliable operation across the asset portfolio
  • support asset integrity activities by contributing to maintenance strategies, including the development of strategic preventive maintenance plans that safeguard long term asset health
  • initiate and coordinate management of change process from site level, securing alignment and necessary support from central functions
  • ensure data quality and consistency by validating production data and maintaining accurate performance records for operational and analytical use.

 

To succeed in the role, you:

  • hold a relevant technical degree (e.g., electrical, mechanical , or engineering discipline) or equivalent education, complemented by several years of industry experience
  • build and maintain strong working relationship with diverse internal and external stakeholder, ensuring effective collaboration across functions and regions
  • possess solid knowledge of turbine system, including electrical generation and converter technologies, hydraulic systems, control systems, SCADA, and fibre-optic communication
  • ideally have experience applying DMAIC or similar continuous improvement methodologies to enhance operational performance
  • demonstrate competency in statistical analysis and diagnostic technigues, enabling you to interpret performance data and identify improvement opportunities
  • bring proven experience in conducting in depth analysis and troubleshooting of complex technical systems, leading to practical and reliable solutions.
