Welcome to our Greater Changhua Wind Farm
You’ll be part of the Greater Changhua Wind Farm where you, together with your colleagues, will be trained by professionals in the industry and be exposed to the latest technologies within offshore wind and experience a unique workplace and lifestyle. Together, we live on and work from a service operations vessel (SOV) on a two-week on/off shift pattern. As a team, we keep an open and honest reporting culture where your ideas and observations are appreciated to help us drive continuous improvement and to maintain the highest levels of safety.

You’ll play an important role in:

  • working with the highest regard for safety and driving a positive safety culture with your actions
  • participating in scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, and fault finding on all wind turbine systems
  • preparing and packing spare parts, tools, and other equipment for all elements of the maintenance work
  • being responsible for the condition of your own safety equipment, life jacket, helmet, full-body harness, etc. to ensure that the supplied equipment is always ready to use
  • participating in and conducting relevant training related to competency, safety, technique, company policies and procedures, through e-learning, classroom training and on-the-job training
  • utilize software systems to accurately record all elements of your daily work, incl. hours worked, spare parts used, and making technical work order reports.

To succeed in the role, you:

  • have a mechanical or electrical education or relevant industry background
  • are able to speak and write English and Mandarin fluently and demonstrate good reading and writing skills with TOEIC 600+ being an advantage
  • are a team player and can develop good relationships with your colleagues and external business partners
  • are willing to live and work away from home, onboard our SOV on a two-week on/off shift pattern

have an aptitude for working at heights and in restricted or confined spaces, as you’ll work in an offshore environment, accommodated on a vessel for extended periods of time.

Maybe you’ve read the above and can see you have some transferable skills, even though they don’t quite match all the points. If you think you can bring something to the team, we still encourage you to apply.
