Senior Communications Manager

 

Join us in this role where you’ll lead strategic communications for Ørsted Taiwan, working closely with national and local stakeholders to strengthen our brand, support offshore wind development, and maintain a strong public profile.

 

Welcome to Taiwan Communications

You’ll join the Ørsted Taiwan Communications team, where you’ll play a strategic role of building our brand, managing our reputation, and driving high-impact communication across media, digital platforms, and key stakeholders. As Senior Communication Advisor, you’ll provide expert guidance on media relations to both Taiwan and APAC management teams, helping to position Ørsted as a leader in Taiwan’s renewable energy transition. 

 

This role primarily focuses on developing strong media and stakeholder relationships that support our business goals and offshore wind projects, including engagement with government audiences.

 

You’ll play an important role in:

  • Developing and implement strategic external communications plans across print, broadcast, and online media to elevate Ørsted’s brand and business presence in Taiwan.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with national, regional, and trade media, as well as key opinion leaders and relevant stakeholders.
  • Delivering high-quality communication content, including press releases, media Q&As social media posts, speeches, briefing materials and presentations.
  • Managing relationship with local PR, digital, and event agencies to ensure high-quality execution of communication activities.
  • Overseeing digital communications, including content creation and campaign execution across Ørsted’s website and social channels.
  • Planning and executing corporate events and supporting local engagement activities, ensuring brand alignment across all marketing and communications materials.

 

To succeed in the role, you need to:

  • Possess 5+ years of experience in public relations, corporate communications, or stakeholder/media engagement—either in-house or at a PR agency.
  • Have excellent knowledge of Taiwan’s media landscape, stakeholder dynamics, and government relations context.
  • be a strong communication and storyteller, with track record in content development and event management.
  • have proven experience in developing and executing communications strategies that deliver real business impact.
  • be highly proficient in Mandarin and English, with exceptional writing and editing skills in both languages.
