Senior Land & Property Manager

Join us in this role where you’ll become an internal land and property manager for the APAC Region and where you’ll be responsible for identifying and securing the real estate infrastructure needed to connect offshore wind farms to the electricity transmission grid in Taiwan. You’ll also be part of our company’s global land and property network, which operates across Asia-Pacific, Europe, and North America.

 

Welcome to APAC Commercial
You’ll be part of our highly skilled Commercial Management team where you’ll have reference into our projects, both projects in development, under construction and in operation, and where you, together with your colleagues, will drive all real estate-related workstreams to support the successful delivery of our assets. Your role may include being immersed in one large project or a number of small projects.

 

You’ll play an important role in:

  • securing, developing, and managing the land and property interests required to support Ørsted's development portfolio and operational assets across Taiwan
  • working closely with project, regulatory, engineering, consent and commercial teams, you will support onshore site selection activities and lead landowner engagement, negotiations and manage land acquisition and rezoning processes where required
  • building trusted relationships with landowners, government authorities, local stakeholders and industry partners, you will ensure land and property risks are effectively managed while maximising project value and supporting Ørsted's commitment to responsible development
  • developing and implementing strategic land solutions, you will help enable the successful development, construction and operation of our renewable energy projects.

 

To succeed in the role, you:

  • have a degree in real estate or law or a related discipline, or equivalent land and property experience.
  • have significant experience in land, property and real estate projects in Taiwan
  • have experience in Infrastructure, energy or other large scale development projects is preferred
  • have proven experience negotiating land agreements, managing complex stakeholder relationships and having strong commercial acumen with the ability to identify and mitigate land related risks. You also having knowledge of land administration, property transactions, planning, permitting and zoning processes.
  • are excellent in English & Mandarin communication (Taiwanese is also a bonus) and relationship building skills, with the ability to engage effectively across a wide range of stakeholders.
  • have a proactive, collaborative mindset and the ability to work across multidisciplinary and international teams
