Travel Consultant

Join us in this role where you’ll ensure Ørsted travel arrangements globally is arranged the best possible way undertaking an intuitive process and a safe, sustainable, and financially responsible manner. You’ll implement and work with the overall Ørsted travel policy through daily service and booking. This includes ensuring travelers are informed and assisted when it comes to right procedures, compliance, agreements, and tools as well being updated with Ørsted Travel agreements, booking tools and procedures. You’ll work closely with the Danish travel team to be fully enrolled and familiar with the primary travel specialist tasks and the business.

You’ll be part of Ørsted Global Travel team with location in Taipei TW and with colleagues in DK, US, MY and PL where you, together with your colleagues, will be working with a very exciting and changing travel industry, and you have the possibility to guide, advise and influence how we travel for Ørsted – how to make our travel activity smart, safe, cost efficient and sustainable. You’ll be part of a global, dynamic team in constant development and with a wide contact surface.

As a team, we are highly experienced travel specialists educated from the travel industry. Professional travel consultants with a high service level and a broad overview of Ørsted travel pattern and the relevant products/options from our suppliers and the travel industry.

 

You’ll play an important role in:

  • booking and providing services and offers on travel arrangements which includes flight, hotel, car rental etc. in Amadeus GDS and Cytric OBT
  • ensuring travelers are informed and assisted when it comes to right procedures, agreements, policy and tools
  • staying updated on the Ørsted travel agreements to ensure compliance
  • working with travel procurement and Head of Global Travel on news, needs and the possible local and regional options
  • being responsible for the APAC travel project as the single point of contact. Duties include creating user guides, presentations, providing training, and conducting evaluations.

 

To succeed in the role, you:

  • are a service-oriented attitude, creativity, and a solution-focused approach with a positive mindset and strong data discipline. Integrity and responsibility are essential
  • are educated and experienced within business travel and IATA with min. two years’ experience from business travel agency or airline company
  • are an experienced user of GDS (preferably AMADEUS) and booking/changing complicated international airline tickets
  • are responsible and flexible team player and ready to be part of a long-distance team with DK board
  • are thorough, well formulated, responsible and able to make decisions within known frames
  • are fluent in English speaking and writing and in Mandarin
