SCADA Engineer

Join us in this role where you’ll act as the first point of contact for technical issues related to SCADA and OT systems. You will support both onshore and offshore operations by troubleshooting system faults, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders, and contributing to the continuous improvement and reliability of critical operational systems. 

 

Welcome to HV & Transmission Operations  

You’ll be part of HVTO Service where you, work closely with colleagues across Operations, Digital & Technology, and HV & Transmission teams. Together, you ensure secure, reliable, and efficient operation of SCADA and OT systems that support safe wind farm operations. 

 

You’ll play an important role in: 

  • acting as the first point of contact for SCADA and OT system faults and technical issues, both onshore and offshore 
  • supporting planning and execution of maintenance activities and troubleshooting of OT systems 
  • performing failure analysis and developing improvement proposals to enhance system reliability 
  • supporting offshore technicians with troubleshooting and maintenance through on-site presence or remote guidance 
  • preparing work instructions, technical documentation, and training materials 
  • reporting, tracking, and prioritizing incidents, modifications, and documentation changes in ticket systems 
  • coordinating and monitoring external suppliers during troubleshooting and system improvement activities 
  • participating in maintenance planning in cooperation with planners and corporate departments 
  • conducting offshore inspections to verify system condition and oversee contractor performance 
  • contributing to the development and improvement of SCADA and OT operational processes and policies 
  • supporting the implementation of new system functions in collaboration with internal teams and suppliers.

 

To succeed in the role, you: 

  • hold a bachelor’s degree in IT, Electrical Engineering, or have equivalent practical experience 
  • have experience working with SCADA and OT systems, preferably in wind, energy, or industrial environments 
  • have knowledge of network technologies (e.g. Cisco networking / CCNA) 
  • are familiar with SCADA systems from relevant manufacturers 
  • are offshore-suitable and willing to obtain required GWO certifications 
  • communicate confidently in English (minimum B2 level) and Polish 
  • are comfortable working with Microsoft Office, SAP, and new digital tools 
  • demonstrate strong cooperation skills and can work effectively across multiple interfaces 
  • take ownership of tasks, show professional reliability, and continuously develop your technical expertise.
