(Senior) Project Controller

Join us in this role where you’ll play an active part in optimising our financial performance by providing financial insights through forecasting and analysis into the project team, and business partnering with relevant project stakeholders.

 

Welcome to Project Financial Management
You’ll be part of our Global Project Controlling team where you, together with your colleagues, will provide financial stewardship on our development and execution projects across Offshore, Onshore and P2X. You’ll be responsible for supporting the project team by driving financial transparency and guiding the right decisions. Furthermore, you’ll be working closely with our Global Project Accounting & Operations team to standardise work across projects and locations. As a team, we are dedicated to the projects and have a strong passion for what we do. There is a high level of trust, openminded communication and individual empowerment among your colleagues.

 

You’ll play an important role in:

  • facilitating timely budgeting and cash flow updates to secure financial control
  • providing monthly reporting to project stakeholders and SteerCo to support decision making and financial insights
  • preparing scenario and sensitivity planning
  • partnering with internal project and Joint venture stakeholders
  • collaboration with colleagues across our global Finance Functions.

 

To succeed in the role, you:

  • have a bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, or similar, combined with relevant work experience from the energy industry or infrastructure markets, preferably renewable energy
  • have relevant experience working in a dynamic finance department, preferably in an international company
  • have experience in dealing with controlling, budgeting, and forecasting, financial planning, and analysis
  • thrive on cooperating closely with colleagues across a large and multicultural organisation and enjoy working in a fast-paced and international organisation
  • possess strong Excel and PowerPoint skills and have an interest in IT systems to help develop new reports that provide more dynamic analyses, preferably with experience with SAP and Microsoft Power BI
  • are curious and have a proactive mindset with a passion for making an impact.
