API & Integration Platforms Engineer

Join us in this role where you’ll work with API technologies and integration patterns to design, develop, and maintain secure, stable, and scalable solutions. You’ll support and enhance our API Gateway platform, contribute to new integration designs (like NiFi, iPaaS, SAP API), and ensure the reliability of key business platforms that require high availability and 24/7 operational readiness.

 

Welcome to Platform, Integration & Data IT Product Line (PID IPL)

You’ll be part of the Integrations Team in PID IPL, working hand in hand with amazing colleagues who orchestrate and develop our Broadcom Layer7 API Gateway and related integration tools. Together with the team, you’ll collaborate on delivering high‑quality, business‑critical integrations in an international environment.

You’ll play an important role in:

- designing and developing secure APIs, integrations, and supporting components

- managing and maintaining our Broadcom Layer7 API Gateway platform

- monitoring platform health, performing upgrades, and ensuring stable, scalable operation

- collaborating with stakeholders on new integration requirements and solution design

- supporting 24/7 guard duty on a rotational basis to secure critical integrations

- contributing to integration standards, templates, and good engineering practices.

 

To succeed in the role, you:

- have strong knowledge of API technologies, security, protocols, and design principles

- familiarity with workflow orchestration product, ETL and/or iPaaS platforms will be considered an advantage 

- understand integration patterns, data structures, and workflows, or equivalent experience

- can work with Java for platform customization, Linux environments, and relational databases

- are comfortable with monitoring tools and investigative troubleshooting, or equivalent experience

- enjoy working in agile environment, focus on common goals, using Azure DevOps – being self-organized and value driven

- speak and write English professionally to communicate technical subjects clearly.
