Credit Risk Manager

Join us in this role where you’ll assess and manage counterparty credit risk across a portfolio of corporate and SME customers. You’ll combine financial analysis with sound credit judgement to support commercial activity, recommend limits, and ensure risks are understood and managed. At the same time, you’ll help improve how we work through data, automation, and AI.

You’ll join the Credit & Liquidity Risk team, working closely with Origination, Sales, Trading, Finance, and Second Line Risk. We sit close to the business and focus on pragmatic risk management that enables growth while protecting the company.

You'll play an important role in
- performing credit assessments of corporate and SME counterparties
- analysing financials, key risk drivers, and business models
- recommending internal ratings, PD views, and credit limits
- monitoring developments across the portfolio and flagging emerging risks
- advising stakeholders on credit risk and mitigation options
- engaging with counterparties where needed to support assessments
- improving processes, data quality, and reporting
- using automation, AI and data tools to make our work more efficient and scalable
To succeed in the role, you
- have experience in corporate credit risk, banking, finance, or similar
- are comfortable reading accounts, understanding ratios, and forming a credit view
- can translate financial analysis into clear, practical recommendations
- have an interest in internal rating approaches / PD thinking
- show sound judgement and a pragmatic approach to risk vs. business
- communicate clearly and work well with non-risk stakeholders
- are curious and open to improving ways of working through data and AI
- have strong Excel skills; Python / SQL / BI tools are a plus

Position salary range:
For this position, the expected base pay range is zł141,360.00- zł212,040.00 for the advertised location. The offered base salary will be determined within this range based on relevant skills, experience, and expected role fulfilment within the stated pay range to ensure a fair and competitive offer. Where applicable, you may also be eligible for variable payment and a comprehensive benefits package.
