DevOps Engineer

Join us in this role where you’ll be enabling Ørsted’s commodity trading activities by developing, optimizing, and automating the analytics infrastructure and workflows for analytics-focused teams. You’ll work with analysts and quantitative developers to ensure analytics capabilities and workflows are robust and automated, allowing users to focus on analytics while you manage infrastructure, analytics platform capabilities and enabling tooling.

 

Welcome to Ørsted Digital Technology (DT) and Commercial DT while your employment will be anchored in IT, your daily work will be as part of the Algo, Analytics, Trade Execution team, which develops and operates the data & analytics platform to support Analysts, Data Scientists, and Traders from Trading & Revenue business area. Together with your colleagues in Denmark, Poland and Malaysia, you will enable the trading floor with technical expertise on fast and secure provisioning of analytics platform capabilities based on highest standards.

You'll play an important role in:

  • supporting and maintaining our cloud and Kubernetes-based Analytics Platform to ensure reliability, security, and performance
  • contributing to the development and improvement of CI/CD pipelines to automate testing and deployment, helping analytics teams deliver solutions efficiently
  • configuring and maintaining monitoring tools such as Prometheus and Grafana to support platform health and operational visibility
  • developing and maintaining Python integrations and automated package management solutions following established best practices
  • enabling Analytics Platform capabilities that support Machine Learning, Algorithmic Trading, and Generative AI use cases.

 

 

To succeed in the role, you:

  • are motivated by working in a dynamic trading environment and supporting analytics-focused users and teams
  • use your Python skills to automate operational tasks, improve platform capabilities, and support quants and analysts in their daily work
  • have experience with, or a strong interest in, DevOps practices, CI/CD, cloud platforms, and analytics technologies
  • work with technologies such as Kubernetes, Docker, GitHub, Airflow, and monitoring tools including Prometheus and Grafana
  • are eager to learn more about JupyterHub, Machine Learning, Algorithmic Trading, and Generative AI capabilities, or already have some experience in these areas
  • collaborate effectively with colleagues to help improve analytics workflows and accelerate the delivery of analytics solutions.

Position salary range: 

For this position, the expected base pay range is zł17,508.00- zł26,262.00 for the advertised location. The offered base salary will be determined within this range based on relevant skills, experience, and expected role fulfilment within the stated pay range to ensure a fair and competitive offer. Where applicable, you may also be eligible for variable payment and a comprehensive benefits package.
