Financial Analyst

Join us in this role where you’ll be part of a dedicated team of financial analysts supporting the business with financial analyses for our portfolio of operational and under-construction assets across Europe, US and Asia-Pacific. The position covers a broad range of responsibilities including financial valuation, forecasting, business case optimisation and risk assessment as well as other ad hoc analyses for the business and our senior stakeholders. You’ll have a unique opportunity to develop your toolbox within corporate finance as well as grow professionally and personally in a collaborative environment.

You’ll be part of Offshore Portfolio Valuation team where you, together with your colleagues, will ensure the integrity of our business cases during operational and execution phases of wind farm lifecycle. As a team, we manage a portfolio of business cases for 35+ offshore windfarms across the world. Our mission is to deliver the top-quality valuation analyses, provide key financial insights and advise business on key risks and value drivers. With our function’s support, we strive to enable the business taking right strategic decisions.  As a team, we engage with a broad stakeholder landscape of people with technical, commercial, and financial backgrounds. We have a collaborative culture in the team where support each other in achieving our goals.

 

You’ll play an important role in:

  • performing financial valuation and forecasting, while being a key contributor to sustaining and optimising the value of our large portfolio of offshore wind farm assets
  • preparing decision-making material for senior management, as well as key stakeholders in finance, commercial, and technical areas
  • developing and maintaining financial models for business cases valuation
  • supporting digitalisation initiatives in Finance
  • helping to quantify projects’ risks and opportunities
  • maintaining an overview over the key financial indicators for our business, ensuring the integrity of our business cases and financial commitments.

 

To succeed in the role, you:

  • possess a solid basic understanding of financial theory and valuation concepts
  • have strong analytical skills and structured mindset with a willingness to understand the underlying business case input assumptions and project specifics
  • have great communication, collaboration and interpersonal skills to ensure complex financial matters are understood by all stakeholders across different geographies and cultural backgrounds
  • speak and write English fluently, enabling you to present results to your business partners in a professional manner
  • are an experienced user of Excel and Power Point.
