Funding Specialist

Join us in this role where you’ll be part of a team of six employees who handle our external funding needs and the internal distribution of capital towards our subsidiaries and projects across our global footprint on a daily basis. We aspire to constantly develop solutions that support our business. The Funding team consists of specialists with a broad range of experience, strong capabilities, and knowledge within the field of financing activities. Your position is new position within the Funding team.

 

Welcome to IR, Treasury & Capital Planning
You’ll be part of the Funding team in IR, Treasury & Capital Planning where you, together with your colleagues in Denmark, will manage the daily execution of financing activities and improve our processes within fields such as trade finance, solutions for net working capital, and external and internal financing. You’ll also manage and develop Ørsted’s trade finance set-up, and you’ll be in dialogue with our relationship banks on a wide range of tasks. As a team, we’re characterised by an informal work culture, where we value daily professional collaboration and support across a department which facilities personal and professional development.

 

You’ll play an important role in:

  • managing bank and parent company guarantee set-ups
  • developing the global trade finance set-up for the future
  • updating and improving processes and procedures
  • co-managing the internal bank set-up
  • supporting the business with relevant funding and structural solutions
  • being an important collaboration partner for other departments in our organisation.

 

To succeed in the role, you:

  • have a master´s degree in finance, economics, or similar
  • have up to 2-4 years of practical experience in the field of treasury, banking or financial controlling
  • are open-minded and curious about finding the right solutions and enjoy working in an environment with many stakeholders
  • are able to take ownership of tasks and projects
  • thrive in a dynamic and informal work environment and can handle tight deadlines in hectic periods
  • are an experienced user of Excel and PowerPoint and preferably also Quantum and SAP.
