(Senior) Full Stack Developer

Join us in this role where you’ll have the responsibility and opportunity to develop solutions support the design of electrical systems of wind farm installations. You’ll develop, support, and maintain applications for our platforms to support our digital transformation.

 

Welcome to Software Engineering 1 Competency Centre
You’ll be part of our IT Competence Centre where you, together with your colleagues, will develop IT applications utilising the newest technologies, such as Github Copilot and Azure OpenAI. You’ll work with people from different areas of expertise, incl. product owners, scrum masters, application architects, and testers. Together, you’ll develop custom applications to support wind farm operations. As a team, we create a friendly work environment where you can grow your competencies and maintain a healthy work-life balance which is essential for us.

 

You’ll play an important role in:

  • creating business value by developing and maintaining extended functionality on IT products
  • creating and maintaining software solutions for both internal users and external customers
  • participating in daily stand-up meetings, sprint reviews, and sprint planning ceremonies with your colleagues, as well as ensuring the optimisation of the agile development process
  • applying best software development practices, incl. source control systems such as git, and conducting code reviews, pull requests, automated testing, familiarity with DevOps, and associated tools.

 

To succeed in the role, you:

  • have programming proficiency in Python, with practical knowledge about Python scientific computing libraries, like Numpy or Scipy
  • nice to have a good understanding of Angular and experience with implementing designs prepared by UX experts
  • have practical knowledge of Git, DevOps practices, and reliability practices
  • have good knowledge of design patterns, good practices, object-oriented design, and clean code
  • are proactive with strong analytical skills, lead other developers by example and support requirements coming from business stakeholders.
