Manager in Offshore Operations Finance

Join us in this role where you’ll play an active role in managing the optimisation of our cost performance by providing financial insight into our operations functions in offshore wind. The Offshore Operations Controlling team’s work is varied and includes monthly reporting, annual forecasting, and working closely with joint venture partners and internal stakeholders.

 

Welcome to Business Finance You’ll be part of Offshore Operations Finance where you, together with your colleagues, will be part of a global Finance team working with the Operations team to drive down the operating costs and the Commercial teams to maximise the EBITDA of the portfolio. We offer a unique and varied role where you’ll work across the offshore portfolio and have every opportunity to develop your knowledge, competences, and skillset. You’ll be an integral part of a team with competent and committed colleagues who’ll support you along the way. As a team, we collaborate closely with our colleagues in Operations and Asset Management, share knowledge and learnings, and support each other to succeed together.

 

You’ll play an important role in:

· being responsible for a team of business controllers who deliver monthly reporting and controlling for our offshore wind farms towards our internal stakeholders and external partners

· managing and coordinating the annual budgeting process in the team and providing input to reforecasting processes during the year for our internal stakeholders and external partners

· partnering with the head of Offshore Operations Finance to set up our new hub, developing the strategy for the team, and defining processes, interfaces, and deliverables

· driving a continuous improvement mindset in the team and ensuring efficient delivery of tasks

· developing the people who report to you into a consistent team of motivated and high-performing colleagues.

 

To succeed in the role, you:

· have relevant experience in leading and developing others, either as people leader or knowledge lead and a desire to work with people

· preferably have an accounting background/degree

· are proactive and self-driven, challenging the status quo and continuously apply your can-do attitude to improve our business processes and deliverables

· possess strong leadership and coordination skills, with a passion for developing talent around you

· speak and write English fluently, and communicate clearly to your direct reports and to your peers and senior management

· thrive on cooperating closely with colleagues across a large and multicultural organisation and enjoy working in a fast-paced, growth-oriented, and international organisation.
