Network Infrastructure Architect

You’ll be part of the Network Product Line architecture team where you, together with your colleagues, will define architecture standards, guide global infrastructure delivery, and ensure scalable, secure, and consistent networking solutions across business units and platforms. 

As a team, we collaborate closely across domains, share knowledge, and continuously develop to deliver secure, scalable, and high-quality infrastructure solutions.

 

You'll play an important role in:

  • designing and documenting enterprise network architecture for cloud and on-prem environments, aligned with business requirements and reference architectures based on Cisco ACI, SD-Access, SD-WAN, Citrix NetScaler and Palo Alto firewalls
  • identifying architecture patterns, develop guidelines, reference and solution architectures and anchor these in the Ørsted’s Network Product Line
  • supporting change management by guiding technology implementation, testing, and service transition across it's lifecycle
  • collaborating with solution managers, architects, engineers, and vendors to align technologies with strategy and ensure consistent implementation
  • have relevant infrastructure or architecture certifications (e.g., Cisco CCNP/CCIE, Palo Alto, TOGAF, ArchiMate) or equivalent experience, combined with hands-on expertise in key technologies such as Cisco ACI, SD-Access, SD-WAN, Citrix NetScaler, and Palo Alto firewalls
  • have exposure to cloud networking in Azure or AWS platforms and to regulated or compliance-driven environments
  • bring knowledge of IT and regulatory frameworks such as ITIL, SAFe, ISO 27001, or NIS2
  • posses general knowledge and skills in coding, CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code with Terraform and Configuration Management with Ansible.

 

To succeed in the role, you: 

  • have relevant infrastructure or architecture certifications (e.g., Cisco CCNP/CCIE, Palo Alto, TOGAF, ArchiMate) or equivalent experience, combined with hands-on expertise in key technologies such as Cisco ACI, SD-Access, SD-WAN, Citrix NetScaler, and Palo Alto firewalls. Preferably, you also bring experience with cloud networking (Azure and/or AWS) and automation tools such as Terraform, Ansible, and Python
  • have experience with cloud networking and platforms (Azure, AWS) and exposure to regulated or compliance-driven environments
  • bring knowledge of IT and regulatory frameworks such as ITIL, SAFe, ISO 27001, or NERC CIP
  • have general knowledge and skills in coding (for deployment of IaC using Terraform and Configuration Management using Ansible)   
  • have deep and profound experience with infrastructure architecture, solution design and documentation 
  • understand end-to-end infrastructure delivery, including installation, testing, and service transition.

Position salary range: 

For this position, the expected base pay range is zł282,310- zł423,460 for the advertised location. The offered base salary will be determined within this range based on relevant skills, experience, and expected role fulfilment within the stated pay range to ensure a fair and competitive offer. Where applicable, you may also be eligible for variable payment and a comprehensive benefits package.
