Operations Engineer - Security Technologies

Join us in this role where you’ll take responsibility for operating and developing our physical security systems and facility management technologies, ensuring that our global locations remain safe, compliant, and fully supported. You’ll contribute to implementing new solutions, maintaining existing applications, and ensuring the resilience, documentation, and operational readiness of systems that support our critical infrastructure.

 

Welcome to GREWM (Global Real Estate & Workplace Management – Digital Workplace)
You’ll be part of of the GREWM team where you, together with your colleagues, will will work across physical security, facility management technologies, and application lifecycle management to support both enterprise and production environments. You’ll collaborate closely with infrastructure teams, vendors, on-site stakeholders, and global security colleagues.

You’ll play an important role in:

  • initiating and maintaining application lifecycle management plans for physical security and facility management systems
  • coordinating and executing ALM activities with vendors and infrastructure teams
  • ensuring applications remain secure, patched, and updated, and identifying opportunities for technical improvements
  • supporting new implementations of physical security and related technologies across global sites
  • participating in incident, troubleshooting, and root-cause resolution across IT and OT environments
  • documenting processes, system changes, and operational activities in accordance with regulatory requirements

 

To succeed in the role, you:

  • have experience working with complex applications in on-prem or cloud environments, such as Azure or AWS, or equivalent experience
  • have excellent understanding of IT infrastructure, application concepts, scripting, and automation frameworks
  • can navigate infrastructure across IT and OT domains, understanding networks, zones, controllers, and systems that interface with physical assets
  • can read and interpret technical documentation and contribute to solution-design discussions
  • communicate clearly in English and collaborate confidently with technical and non-technical stakeholders globally
  • approach tasks with accountability, precision, and adherence to regulatory and security frameworks
