People Operations Specialist (fix term till 30.06.2027)

Welcome to Global People Services

You'll be part of PL HR Operations where you, together with your colleagues, will form the backbone of the HR function in Orsted and for our PL workforce. You'll be responsible for supporting all HR activity within your dedicated area, as well as supporting global initiatives where required. The PL HR Operations team sits within Global People Services, an exciting area which has been developed to support the growth of our business.

You'll play an important role in:

  • preparing and maintaining HR documentation in accordance with Polish regulations
  • administering employee benefits such as the pension plan, insurance plan, medical plan, etc.
  • maintenance of HR Master data in Success Factors and SAP, ensuring quality and timely input
  • conducting onboarding and offboarding processes, serving as the primary point of contact for employees and people leaders in Poland
  • coordination of the employment and residence permit process in cooperation with an external company
  • administering Health & Safety matters related to HR, including medical check-ups, training, etc.
  • communication and cooperation with relevant stakeholders, including Talent Acquisition Partners, People & Culture and Payroll teams to ensure smooth cooperation and partnership.

 

To succeed in the role, you:

  • have relevant experience in People Operations area, with comprehensive knowledge of Polish labour regulations (including but not limited to working hours and overtime), fundamental payroll principles, employer obligations and rights, and GDPR regulations
  • have knowledge of SAP and Success Factors (this will be considered an advantage)
  • have strong written and verbal communication skills to interact professionally with stakeholders within and outside the company (fluency in English)
  • have excellent time management, analytical skills, attention to detail, and structured working style
  • can plan, prioritise workload, and manage different priorities simultaneously
  • be able to work effectively as part of a team, collaborating with colleagues and stakeholders to achieve common goals, while also being capable of working independently.
