Senior Analyst for Offshore Settlement

Join us in this role where you’ll support our different business areas across Ørsted’s global footprint, performing financial activities and securing the revenue streams, resulting in a well-performed month-end close all year round.

Welcome to Global Contract Settlements
You’ll be part of Contracts Settlements team in Warsaw where you, together with your colleagues, will perform financial assignments in our fast-paced developing businesses, and at the same time drive continuous improvements in a global business.

The overall Global Contract Settlements department is situated in Poland, Denmark, Germany, and England and takes care of both biofueled power plants, biomethane and natural gas contracts, as well as the offshore wind farms.

As a team, we foster a culture of continuous learning, open feedback, and mutual respect—empowering each team member to grow and contribute to our shared success.

You’ll play an important role in:

  • gathering data and information for calculating our complex contracts monthly both in manual setups as well as more automated setups
  • primarily accruing and settling revenue, but also cost streams, controlling the transactions, reconciling the accounts, and performing internal controls
  • solving other related financial assignments.

To succeed in the role, you:

  • hold a bachelor’s or master’s degree in economics or accounting or possess equivalent experience
  • have accounting experience
  • speak and write English fluently
  • are self-driven in all aspects of finding the right approach to your tasks
  • thrive in an international environment and on collaboration with your team and relevant stakeholders.

Maybe you’ve read the above and can see you have some transferable skills, even though they don’t quite match all the points. If you think you can bring something to the team, we still encourage you to apply.
