Senior Contract Manager for IT & Digital

Join us in this role where you’ll be commercially responsible for managing and optimising our IT contract and vendor portfolio. You’ll renegotiate contracts, assist with change management, conduct renewals, and manage disputes. In addition, you’ll participate in larger IT implementation projects and develop mutually beneficial relationships towards our key suppliers. All of this is done in close collaboration with our stakeholders in IT.

Welcome to Indirect Procurement
You’ll be part of the Contract Management & Consultancy Services team where you, together with your colleagues, will have the responsibility for commercial management of IT contracts, contract implementation, and contract lifecycle management. The Indirect Procurement scope includes IT, contingent workforce, professional services, facility services, HR services, and travel. As a team, we’re a great group of ambitious and caring colleagues who all play their unique role in delivering on our aspirations in an inspiring, inclusive, and energised workplace.

You’ll play an important role in:

  • identifying commercial improvements and value optimisations for a wide-ranging portfolio of contracts within the IT area
  • handling commercial issues arising from contracts, incl. issues related to vendor performance, contract interpretation and licensing, and IT on commercial and contractual terms
  • proactively suggesting improvements to processes, procedures, governance, workflows, and organisational structures related to contract and vendor management
  • building relationships with key internal and external stakeholders to support the realisation and optimisation of commercial value from the contract portfolio
  • contributing to develop Supplier Relationship Management processes, incl. BRM procedures.

To succeed in the role, you:

  • have a cross-disciplinary background based on a master’s degree in economics or law or equivalent experience, with a broad and in-depth understanding of corporate IT
  • have proven experience managing IT contracts, ranging from standard software to complex tailored IT solutions
  • have proven track record for creating value through contract management activities, by identifying and utilize commercial or technical levers.
  • have experience in leading negotiations with suppliers, taking responsibility for planning and executing the negotiation process
  • have a keen interest and ability to understand commercial pricing models in IT contracts, analyse data, identify compliance gaps, and develop business cases to optimise software license usage.

Maybe you’ve read the above and can see you have some transferable skills, even though they don’t quite match all the points. If you think you can bring something to the team, we still encourage you to apply.
