Senior Credit Risk Manager

Join us in this role where you’ll conduct credit assessments and ongoing risk evaluations that support robust decision-making across our energy business. You’ll work hands-on with day-to-day credit risk tasks, contribute to consistent processes, and collaborate with experienced colleagues as the team strengthens its presence in Warsaw. 

 
Welcome to Group Risk 
You’ll be part of Credit, Liquidity & Financial Regulation Risk where you, together with your colleagues, will design and support Ørsted’s credit risk management across markets and business areas. As a 2nd line function the team works closely with internal and external stakeholders across Ørsted’s commercial and operational activities in designing risk frameworks, assess counterparties, monitor exposures, and support practical, well-documented risk decisions.

You’ll play an important role in: 

  • conducting credit assessments and ongoing risk evaluations for counterparties across Ørsted’s full value chain, from development and procurement to operations and commercial activities 

  • preparing clear credit recommendations, ratings, and supporting documentation for decision-making 

  • supporting day-to-day credit risk activities with a consistent, structured, and operational mindset 

  • collaborating with stakeholders in risk and the energy business to understand exposures and business needs 

  • contributing to well-functioning credit risk processes as the team strengthens collaboration across locations 

  • bringing curiosity and analytical discipline to a role with strong learning and development opportunities. 

To succeed in the role, you: 

  • have experience in credit risk, financial risk, credit analysis, or equivalent experience 

  • enjoy hands-on analytical work and can turn financial information into clear risk assessments 

  • communicate insights clearly and confidently to stakeholders with different levels of risk expertise 

  • work in a structured way, follow through on recurring tasks, and maintain quality in documentation 

  • are motivated by learning, developing your credit risk expertise, and contributing to a collaborative team 

  • are based in, or open to being based in, Warsaw and able to collaborate regularly with colleagues in the office.

Position salary range

For this position, the base pay range is 15,000PLN - 22,000PLN for the advertised location. The offered base salary will be determined within this range based on relevant skills, experience, and expected role fulfilment within the stated pay range to ensure a fair and competitive offer. Where applicable, you may also be eligible for variable payment and a comprehensive benefits package.
